I tried to think of one word to sum up this place and all I could think of is three, Party in Jamaica, LOL. There’s a reason they call it that, because its the most perfect beach bar ever. There’s a little something for everyone at Seacrets. Live music/DJ’s every night of the week, blended drinks, its own distillery and line of spirits, sand under their toes, rafts in the water, a banging nightclub that feels like Vegas and just an all around good vibe. If you’re into frozen drinks try a Rum Runner or a Pain in ‘de ass (pina cola, rum runner mix SO YUMMY). If frozen drinks aren’t your thing, no worries! Try a bumblebberry punch or seacrets smash!
Teasers is the dockside bar of the Sunset Grille, located just outside of Ocean City in West O. It’s a fantastic place to unwind, enjoy the views, and catch some live entertainment. Teasers Bar also provides unbeatable views of local fishing tournaments, like the White Marlin Open and exclusive events like Teasers Cup, both in August!
Macky’s is nestled right along the bay with its own private wading beach (perfect for taking the pets or the kiddies). The drink menu includes everything from beer and wine to frozen cocktails to multiple size buckets, perfect for cooling off after a morning at the beach. In the evening, you can celebrate with a variety of weekly events including Theme Night’s on Tuesday and Little Black Dress night on Thursday! If shot’s are your thing make sure to try your hand at the ‘Bomb Squad’ for your chance to win an exclusive Mackys bombsqad tee shirt!
Bahia Marina isn’t just a popular spot for fishing charters. It’s also home to one of our favorite local bars! Fish Tales in Ocean City, MD, features a laid-back atmosphere with an extensive drink menu. Whether you’d like to sip on a chocolate mudslide or fresh-squeezed orange crush, their bartenders have you covered. Just make sure you try some of the delicious seafood and sit by the dock or in the swinging chairs while you’re there! Wednesday night is pretty popular with the locals so if you’re looking for something fun on a Wednesday, swing by here!
Liquid Therapy, the pool bar at Aloft hosts a thursday night happy hour party complete with a DJ, glitter and braid bar, drink specials and rafts in the bay!! Super fun! Make sure to try out a Smash bucket (white mango is my fave!!).
Coconuts is home to the best happy hour on the strip, Buy one get One FREE every day from 5-6. Warning: if you order one drink during the happy hour they will give you 2 because of the B1G1, so order accordingly haha I’ve made that mistake (deff not a mistake tho) one to many times.
Mr ducks: A locals treasure, its on the bay by the inlet so you get to see the boats coming in and out! Definitely recommend chugging a duck while you’re there as well!
Fager’s Island offers fine dining, casual dining, live music, and fire pits, all in a classy bay front setting. What more could you ask for? Their menu features several craft beers on tap and a selection of 32 wines by the glass! Fagers is also home to a super popular Monday Night deck party!
Cowboy Coast is Country lovers paradise. This place is super fun if you’re a fan of country music, they have live music, cold beer and even have a mechanical bull!
Guido’s is home of the giant margarita, one of my fave fun drinks here in OC. They have several flavors, like regular margarita and the super yummy sweedish fish. Guido’s is the spot on Thursday nights, for their “Bombs Away” party!
Pickles Pub is not like the others on this list, definitely more of a locals dive bar but they have amazing drink specials and DELICIOUS pickle shots!
Pier 23 is Ocean City’s first waterfront container bar! Located in west Oc, its deff a must visit either by boat or by car!
