Key West Travel Guide

I’m finally back from Key West and I am so excited to put together this full travel guide with all of my best recs! Since there is SO much to do in Key West, it can feel a little overwhelming knowing where to go and what to do. We’ve been going to Key West for years so I hope this travel guide is helpful for planning your own trip. Have the best time and make sure to save the downloadable travel guides below to your phone for easy access!

Eats

  • Sunset Pier: drinks and music at sunset
  • Banana Cafe: breakfast
  • La Te Da: breakfast/dinner make reservations
  • The Breakfast Cafe Too: must go for breakfast + get the pancake charcuterie board + monster bloody mary
  • Riverwalk/Alonzos: seafood on the water (any of the waterfront restaurants at Riverwalk are amazing vibes)
  • Southernmost Point Cafe: not direct sunset but on the water and you get great views
  • Eaton Street Market: great seafood dine-in or to-go, great spot for stone crab claws
  • Blue Heaven: breakfast/dinner
  • Moondog: breakfast/dinner

Activities

  • Boat Day & Snorkeling: we used After Hours Key West and rented from Boat Setter
  • Hibachi in the Backyard: Hibachi Omakase or Hibachi 2u
  • Butterfly Museum
  • Beaches: Smithers Beach, Higgs Beach, Simon St Beach & Lager Heads beach bar
  • Cruise Around the Island on a Golf Cart: The island makes a circle so you get great views and can explore and see a little bit of everything

  • Pickles Pub (must hit if you are from Maryland!)
