2023 NYE GUIDE: OCEAN CITY, MARYLAND
Can you believe New Years is right around the corner?! I’m not completely sure of my plans yet, but I am so glad to see that there are so many fun new places to celebrate around town. Ocean City’s off season is not nearly as crowded as the summer, but there is still plenty to do!
By Request, I’m putting together a few popular things to do around Ocean City, MD for New Years Eve.

HERE’S SOME IDEAS FOR A COZY NYE AT HOME
Reflect on 2023 and all of your accomplishments/lessons
Set 2024 Goals + create a vision board for the new year
Host a dinner party with your friends/family, you can go all out and dress up still
but best part is you don’t even have to leave the house!
Girls night in with your favorite movies, music, jammies, drinks and of course a charcuterie board!
catch the fireworks + specials on TV like "Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest
Eat your “lucky” meal : pork, black eyed peas, lentils or herring for prosperity in the new year. To attract wealth in 2024, eat collard greens, cornbread or sauerkraut, oba noodles to bring longevity. For your year to come full circle, Enjoy a donut as the clock strikes midnight. For true luck to be with you all of 2024, eat 12 grapes at once or a whole fish!

Berlin ball drop
I personally haven’t been to this but it sounds like such a fun night, for all ages (if you don’t mind bundling up). The kids light show starts at 5:00 followed by a ball drop @ 6, and the adults party starts at 10 with ball drop at midnight!
The Residence Inn is also having their own ball drop if you wanted to stay closer to town/indoor! Reform School Band, Karaoke Party and DJ Donnie will be there with no cover all night long!
Hit up a Local Bar
The Buzzed Word (champagne & caviar, 5-midnight), perfect spot to pregame with a glass of champagne + some cheese or caviar!!
Seacrets infamous NYE bash, cover starts at 5PM and increases by the hour so get there early!
They’ll have the Ravens at 1pm then straight into NYE mode.As always no cover, Beats by Rampage start at 9:30 & a champagne toast at midnight!
Sky bar NYE party with opposite directions for a more relaxed bar scene, also serving Brunch!
Other bars: bourbon street, beach barrels, kirbys, Coins Pub, cork bar, tequila frogs, mothers, pitnpub, buxys, 49th street taphouse.
ALL INCLUSIVE PARTIES
Spain Wine Bar is hosting their first ever NYE event. Offering all-inclusive’s of their finest charcuterie boards, tapas, paella, decadent desserts, and handcrafted elixirs. Unlimited wines, beers, spirits, and handcrafted cocktails. Live music by DJ AMRA and Marcella Daniella
Area 51 at Seacrets first New Years Eve Party! $99/ person tickets include 4 hour open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and entry into Seacrets NYE party.
Vista Rooftop is hosting a Masquerade Bash from 8pm-1am featuring live music, a premium open bar, chef-hosted dinner stations, and a sparkling midnight Champagne toast.
Tickets for Fagers NYE deck celebration are $55 and includes admission, 2024 VIP CARD, party favors and midnight champagne toast. They’re also serving dinner, you can call and make a reservation separately!
Shore Deck at Ashore is also a new spot this year, for both dinner and partying this year! Enjoy NYE dinner in the Tide Room with their $50, 3-course menu, set to a live guitarist. Make a night of it with their all inclusive Shore Deck Party, featuring the Doug Kaetz Band, passed Hors D'oeuvres and an open bar.
Princess Royale is having a Masquerade Party. Tickets are $160 and there will be Champagne and a signature open bar. Cocktail hour in Schooners at 7pm. Dinner starts at 8pm in Palmetto Ballroom.

Head to a drive in Movie + Fireworks in the inlet
Enjoy a night of family fun at the inlet parking lot in OC, starting with Encanto airing at 7PM, followed by Top Gun: Maverick, then fireworks at midnight to ring in the new year.
There will be fireworks and music on the Boardwalk leading to a countdown at midnight, an admission is FREE, plus there is plenty of parking at the Inlet Lot. Find out more here.
Watch the fireworks from northside park
(located right outside of bourbon street on the beach) the festivities start at 11 and the fireworks at midnight, but pop in the Bourbon street before to pregame and stay warm! There’s live music so there may be a crowd!
Want to stay closer to Delaware?!
Try harpoon Hannahs, Matt’s Fish Camp, Harvest Tide and go out in Dewey Beach at the Bottle + Cork or there’s also the Rusty Rudder + Starboard). The lighthouse Dewey Beach has half priced apps starting at 11!
If you want to to be closer to Rehobeth/Lewes try Chesapeake and Maine for dinner + celebrating and The Crooked Hammock NYE Bash!
NEW YEARS DAY EVENTS:
