AFFORDABLE FALL ESSENTIALS
Fall is here and there’s something about it this year that feels different; I feel more excited! Fall is always a season full of change and traditions, and one of things I’m most excited about this season is all the fall styles. This year we are actually seeing a lot of the same styles that were popular last year (love when a style is sustainable and can be worn year after year). I wanted to roundup some of the styles to look out for that will be trending again this fall and some of my fave affordable fall pieces under $100:
TOPS:
I picked out some of my favorite tops to add to your wardrobe as the weather is changing. Some of these are the perfect basic that will be a staple in your closet, but I also added in a few that feel like extra special statement tops. So many of these are versatile and can easily be paired with a skirt, pants, and a cute jacket.
SWEATERS:
It is definitely sweater weather and I love seeing all the great options out there! I’ve found some of my favorites that range from oversized to fitted cardigans. The best part about these sweaters is I feel like it’s easy to dress up or dress down depending on how you’re feeling.
DENIM:
You can’t ever going wrong with a good-fitting pair of denim? It is a wardrobe essential for cold weather months. Abercrombie and American Eagle have some great pieces (especially for full figured + curvy/petite sizes) you can not beat the size and style selection! I find that Abercrombie denim runs TTS, I am a 14 sometimes 12 in bottoms, and I almost always get the 31 or 32 for a perfect fit. You can even choose whether you want short, regular, or a long inseam depending on your height.
MATCHING SETS:
Matching sets are definitely all the rage and rightfully so! Not only does it make it super easy to throw together your outfit, but your outfit will look so chic. Matching sets can range from super casual activewear to something more dressed up that would be perfect for a holiday party.
BOOTS:
There is nothing better than a good pair of boots for fall. The chunky Chelsea boots and cowboy boots are definitely on trend right now. I’ve picked out a couple different colors from some different places to give you a good variety. I have the Billini boots and have worn them even in the middle of summer with a dress so definitely think of boots as a great investment piece to your wardrobe!
JACKETS:
A good jacket can really bring your whole outfit together. Shackets are definitely a fun piece to add to your wardrobe, but I also think having a simple, yet chic, trench coat or a leather jacket (short or long) can be used over and over again. And, if you live in a really cold state, like me- make sure you’re getting something that can keep you warm while looking and feeling great!
